Yu, Hongtao graduated in 2021 from the Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Healing and passed the registration examination to become a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). She is a registered member of COMMTA.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Dalian Medical University in China. In Canada, she studied medical aesthetics at AESP and obtained certifications in HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound), laser treatments, and microneedling. In 2022, She completed advanced training in dermatology and laser therapy at RD. Through many years of practice in medicine and aesthetics, as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine and massage therapy, she has developed his own distinctive TCM-based anti-aging and aesthetic techniques.
Hongtao specializes in both Eastern and Western massage aesthetics, head therapy, relaxation therapy, and therapeutic massage for a variety of conditions, with particularly effective results for sciatica and intimate care. Her approach centers on TCM acupoints and meridian theory combined with modern aesthetic principles and kinesiology. Using techniques such as facial fascia release, gua sha, specialized manual methods, and movement principles, she applies non-invasive therapies to restore muscle elasticity, tighten ligaments and fascia, reduce wrinkles, lift the skin, and promote skin rejuvenation and anti-aging benefits.
Hongtao is easygoing, attentive, cautious, and friendly.
